Donation Drive for Ukraine

As travelers and outfitters for travelers, we have always had many open-minded friends and suppliers in the East, which is why the current situation around Russia and Ukraine hurts us doubly.

Many people there are in great need, and relief supplies are urgently required. Food, medical care and hygiene items, or simply clean water … the supply of the bare necessities will, sadly, get dramatically worse over the next few days. UNICEF has long been active in Ukraine to help, a strong organization that stands up above all for the most vulnerable – the children.

Your Purchase Helps Us Help UNICEF

Together with you, we want to support UNICEF in helping children in need.

That is why throughout March we are donating 1% OF THE GOODS VALUE OF EVERY ORDER to UNICEF.

We will round up the resulting sum together with friends, employees and partners, and, despite the helplessness we all feel in the face of this senseless violence, we want to make at least a tiny contribution to the relief effort.

If you don’t feel like shopping right now or want to give UNICEF more support: Here you can

donate directly to UNICEF and the children in Ukraine!

Staying Open and Kind as Travelers – No Matter Where

Our appeal goes along with this campaign: no matter which side of which border – through our own travels we have found friends in many countries. People without whom our lives would be poorer, who are helpful, open and kind. Violence and war are not the wish of the broad mass of a population. Don’t let these or other atrocities by a few influence your open attitude toward the people of a country or of the world.

UPDATE

WE THANK all our customers and friends on behalf of UNICEF Children’s Aid in Ukraine.

In March, you helped us collect the round sum of 10,000 euros for those who are least to blame for this terrible situation and yet suffer the most from it.

We would also like to thank all the full-time and volunteer helpers who work to make sure people in need are not left alone – whether in Ukraine or other parts of the world. Our help here is sadly only a drop in the ocean, but if we all pitch in, whether with active or passive help, and open our hearts to everyone in need, regardless of their origin or skin color, we can achieve a lot of good.
