For several years now, we have been running our popular electrical workshops at the tiger headquarters every spring and autumn. We can proudly say that we have taken away quite a few participants’ fear of installing the electrical system in their camper.
But even though electrics is the hardest topic for most DIY builders, questions about other aspects of the build come up every time as well. That is why we have developed a new concept for you, and the first date is coming up soon.
Adventure-Tech Camp – THE Basics Workshop for the Technical Camper Build
Are you planning your camper build and want to know everything about power supply, water systems and heating technology?
Then we have exactly the right thing for you: our new workshop Adventure-Tech Camp offers you concentrated know-how, practical topic training and real hands-on experience – right here on our company grounds!
What Can You Expect?
Over an exciting weekend, you will dive into the basics of build technology for your future dream camper together with like-minded people. Our experts, with years of travel experience, will show you what matters for a reliable and self-sufficient build.
The topics:
✔ Electrics & Energy – Solar system, battery management & on-board electrical system
✔ Water Systems – From filling up with fresh water to the hot shower
✔ Heating Technology – Understanding and correctly installing air and water auxiliary heaters
✔ Practical Tips – Avoiding mistakes, optimizing your planning, getting to know materials
Learning Together, Camping Together
You can camp (if you like) right on our grounds! Apart from a mattress in your otherwise still empty travel vehicle, you don’t need to bring anything – except for showers, we have everything on site.
A good caterer takes care of meals – also vegan, gluten-free or tailored to other needs.
As at all our past workshops, we traditionally light the fire barrel in the evening for a relaxed exchange. That way you benefit not only from our instructors’ know-how, but also from ideas, inspiration and conversations with nice like-minded people.
Who Is the Workshop For
This two-day workshop provides the knowledge foundation for everyone just starting to plan their camper build. No prior knowledge is required.
When and Where Does the Adventure-Tech Camp Take Place
It starts on Friday, May 2, 2025 from late afternoon / evening – that is our arrival and unofficial get-to-know-each-other day. The official course days are then May 3 & 4, 2025.
The venue is Alpen, NRW (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany).
Where Can I Find Out More?
Visit the official event page of our shop, get to know your instructors, find out more about registration and reserve a spot right there! So that everyone can benefit as much as possible from the workshop, the number of participants is strictly limited.
