Imagine unfolding your solar bag and simply plugging the connector in conveniently on the outside of the vehicle. It doesn’t get more practical or quicker than that.
Or think about how much more relaxed it is when you no longer have to climb into the camper every time you want to check on your charging phone. That’s annoying – especially when you then get to sweep out all the sand you tracked in, every single time. Chilling outside and comfortably carrying on using your phone (or laptop etc.) in the sun while it charges!? That takes a very long cable.
Exterior connections therefore significantly increase comfort, flexibility and versatility when camping. But as so often, the devil is in the details.
What Makes the Ventura Series So Special?
The demands are high, because (driving) wind and weather, constant UV exposure and other influences take their toll on the material over a long period. Last but not least, it should also show no material fatigue after frequent use.

Ventura was developed specifically for use on travel vehicles and offroad vehicles – that is, everywhere that weather, UV radiation, salt and dirt (as well as the pressure washer and cleaning agents) become part of daily stress. Here are the highlights:
High-Quality Materials
The housings are made of glass-fiber-reinforced nylon – built for permanent outdoor use. The material is
- UV-stabilized and resists yellowing and embrittlement even in intense sunlight. The look stays fresh for years.
- Physically stable, since the glass fiber content provides significantly higher strength and impact resistance. This is particularly important for exterior connections, as they can be exposed to mechanical stress such as knocks or high pressure (e.g. during cleaning).
Stainless steel components are made in marine grade (AISI 316) and, thanks to the special alloy, are particularly corrosion-resistant. This means greater resistance to aggressive environmental influences such as:
- Salt air and road salt (e.g. on the coast or in winter use),
- high humidity,
- Splash water and permanent wetness.
Especially for vehicles that spend a lot of time outdoors, at the sea, on coastal roads or out winter camping, marine stainless steel ensures that screws, springs and other parts don’t rust or discolor and keep working reliably.
These materials ensure that the products in the series stay practical, durable and good-looking – from the coast to the high mountains.
Clean Installation, Clean Result
Thanks to a full-surface gasket, the exterior connections are installed without the mess of adhesive and sealant.
The hinged lids also close tightly and securely (IP68 / IP69K) to keep moisture and dirt out. The premium Click to Close design makes sure the lids stay securely closed even in strong wind or under a pressure washer.
