Hot Shower Kit 2.0 Before the Hot Water Connection Kit
For users who bought the Hot Shower Kit before this date, the following applies: even in its previous version, the kit is a mature and excellently equipped system for reliable hot water preparation in a camper and motorhome.
The new Hot Water Connection Kit is therefore not a necessary correction, but a targeted further development that makes the system even easier to install and ensures operational safety across all adjustable temperature ranges.
Specific Starting Points for the Further Development
In practical use it turned out that during installation of the Hot Shower Kit, accidental damage to the seals of the braided stainless steel hoses could occasionally occur.
Furthermore, the TSR is deliberately designed so that it can be configured for very different applications. In practice, with certain settings that were not chosen appropriately for the specific operating conditions, this can lead to unintentionally high hot water temperatures.
To ensure lasting tightness of the system even under these circumstances, the Hot Water Connection Kit contains components designed for even higher temperature ranges.
How the Hot Water Connection Kit Works
The new kit is designed specifically for very high temperatures and creates a permanently tight connection between the boiler, thermostatic mixing valve and the rest of the water system. For this purpose it contains
- silicone hoses with a temperature resistance of up to 150 °C,
- a thermostatic mixing valve for controlled mixing of hot and cold water as scald protection (previously already part of the Hot Shower Kit 2.0)
- high-quality, correctly sized hose clamps that seal evenly all the way around
- Brass push-on and screw-in hose nozzles, as well as PTFE sealing tape
- Connectors for integration into the cold water system
These components ensure that neither hoses nor connectors are thermally overloaded, even at the maximum temperature setting.
In this way, the Hot Water Connection Kit reliably protects the entire water system from damage and the travel vehicle from leaks.

Since September 10, 2025, the Hot Water Connection Kit has automatically been part of the Hot Shower Kit 2.0.
As a separate kit
For systems built from individually selected components that don’t include a Hot Shower Kit 2.0 as a base, the Hot Water Connection Kit is available as a separate set.
